Chicago Reclaiming, Inc. presents
Money: Our Stories, Its Shadows
with Matt Sweet and Tony Rella

What is the essence of Money? What are your stories about Money? How do these affect the role of Money in your life? Where does your Money come from? Where does it go? What do you value with your Money, and does it match your values? What is the difference between Money and wealth? Can we budget for generosity?

What would it be like to consider Money a sacred ally in your work?

Join us for an afternoon workshop exploring these questions and more. We will witness each other as we tell our personal stories about Money. We will work with the tools of trance, writing, and the Feri and Reclaiming tool of the Iron Pentacle. We will support each other in this work, and seek what power we can find therein. We will look at our relationships with Money and consider how we might transform them.

When:

  • Saturday, June 7, 1:30-5:00
Where: 2032 W. Fulton, Ste# F-263-A
Chicago, IL
Cost: $1-25, sliding scale. Limited work exchange is available. Pay what you can afford.
To register: Contact Tony to confirm enrollment.

About the teachers:

Matt Sweet - I am a Reclaiming Witch living near Detroit with my partner and two cats. An unrepentant Feretic and a founding member of Trillium Reclaiming, I believe that magic is all about developing relationships. I look forward to teaching and working with the Iron Pentacle. I am passionate about music, and am currently obsessed with Bach's Goldberg Variations.

Tony Rella - I am a witch living in Chicago with my partner, and an involved member of its Reclaiming community. I am also a student of the Morning Star tradition of Feri, and a member of the Brotherhood of the Phoenix. For me, magic feeds the process of becoming more fully myself, and recognizing the spirit within all things. This summer, I'd like to learn to garden and spend more time on my bike.
